NESTLÉ WITH LGS HELD A FUN FILLED ACTIVITY AT LGS LANDMARK HARBANSPURA

NESTLÉ WITH LGS HELD A FUN FILLED ACTIVITY AT LGS LANDMARK HARBANSPURA

United for Healthier Kids kicked off its plan to engage schools to join in the movement and engage teachers in becoming ambassadors who promote the three key behaviors in their class rooms and schools.

On December 13, 2016 an activity began at LGS Landmark Harbanspura at 8:00 a.m. The children were in for a surprise as they started with a fun filled activity which was also educational.

Teachers and the internal activation team facilitated the event by conducting the different activities whilst encouraging children to learn about how they should Choose to Drink Water, Choose Nutritious and Varied Options and Move More, Sit Less!

The children participated in races where they would run across to a water table, drink water and run back. Simultaneously an engaging ‘pot’ activity took place where the children were given a flower pot in which they planted seeds. To make it engaging for children and keep their complete interest the team had Mascots who acted out stories for the children to learn and take away key lessons from. The children were also asked to choose one of the key behaviors and write about it, why they like it most and activities they do.

The activity was a complete success and a great beginning to engaging more schools to spread the message for United for Healthier Kids.
