Cheesy Meatballs


  • ok500g lean beef mince
  • ok1 onion, coarsely grated
  • ok1 medium carrot, peeled, coarsely grated
  • ok1 small zucchini, ends trimmed, coarsely grated
  • ok1/4 cup tomato sauce
  • ok1 tablespoon barbecue sauce
  • ok1 cup (80g) coarsely grated cheddar
  • ok1/4 cup (40g) plain flour
  • ok3/4 cup (70g) breadcrumbs
  • ok2 teaspoons oil

Let's Cook

  1. 1Combine the beef, onion, carrot, zucchini, tomato sauce, barbecue sauce, cheddar and flour into a medium bowl with your hands.
  2. 2Roll mixture into balls and place on an oven tray. Place the breadcrumbs on a plate and lightly coat the balls.
  3. 3Cover with plastic wrap and place in the fridge for 30 minutes or until firm.
  4. 4Heat the oil in a large pan and fry the meatballs.
  5. 5Serve immediately.
